Meet & Greet With Abu Ahmed

Learn about Qatar’s farming legacy from a Qatari farmer. Explore the outskirts of Qatar and and gain an insight into Qatar’s traditional farming legacy with a tour of a local farm. In this five hour guided eco-tour, we will venture out of the city and into the outskirts to the north of Doha. You will visit a solar powered local farm and be treated to a fantastic meal by your Qatari host, Abu Ahmed. You will also have the chance to pick vegetables before setting out for Qatar’s ghost town: the Al Jumail ruins, the only remnants of a bustling and important fishing village from the 19th century. For admirers of local culture and history, this trip will be a dream come true.
